Visited for a chat with some beautiful pink roses on Monday 12th April. So peaceful in spring sunshine. I sat a while to tell you I’d found a new job starting Monday 19th and that Duke of Edinburgh passed away on Friday 9th April. He was 99 and his funeral was today, the 17th April. It was a pared back service due to pandemic but truly beautiful and moving. Planned by the Duke himself with wonderful music. I miss you Mam. I miss our chats and having you to share my thoughts with and for advice. I love you. Always in my heart and thoughts. Gill x
